Exhibitions

firstsite exhibitions present a wealth of contemporary visual art practice. The annual programme combines solo and group exhibitions from artists working locally, nationally and internationally, and includes existing and commissioned works.

A core aim of our programme is to contextualise contemporary practice by presenting new pieces alongside historical works. From time to time we borrow works from collections and work in partnership with other organisations to develop exhibitions.
