By car
There is good access to Colchester from all parts of the country via the A12, A120, M25 and A14.
firstsite offers parking for disabled visitors only; there is no on-site parking. Disabled parking bays are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Outside the building is a drop-off point for cars and coaches, and special access for disabled visitors.

By bus

By rail
firstsite is a few minutes' walk from Colchester Town Station (see map) or 25 minutes’ walk from Colchester North mainline station. Journey time from London Liverpool Street to Colchester is around 50 minutes on InterCity services, and around an hour on local services. Plan your journey.

There is a cloakroom behind our reception desk which can accommodate luggage. We suggest a £1 donation.
Please do not bring food or drink into the gallery spaces. Photography is not permitted inside the building. firstsite asks visitors to refrain from touching the artworks.
If you have any queries during your visit, do not hesitate to ask a firstsite gallery assistant (wearing grey t-shirts), who will be happy to help.
