Charlotte Higgins - Roman Britain from a Campervan

The Guardian's chief arts writer, Charlotte Higgins toured Roman Britain gathering material for a forthcoming book. During this talk on Wednesday 18 January, she discussed why Roman Britain is worth talking about today, comparing her own experiences of travelling in her VW campervan with those of the gentleman antiquaries of the eighteenth century.
