Associate Artist (0.5 pt)

Hours: 18.5 hours per week, flexible
Rate of pay: £19,000 per annum (£6,333 pro rata)
Purpose
firstsite is recruiting a team of Associate Artists for its Learning Programme. We are seeking practicing professional artists who have experience working with diverse audience groups. The posts are part time enabling a continuation of concurrent arts practice. The cohort of Associate Artists will work together, supporting and challenging each other as they develop new methodologies for firstsite’s Learning Programme.

Based - Colchester, Essex
An opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Management Team at firstsite. This Role will oversee all aspects of Marketing and Communications for the organisation's Artistic programme, Commercial offer and the launch of firstsite's new building which is due to open in 2011.
Scope of Role
Head of Marketing & Communications will be responsible for marketing the organisation's programme of events, launch of firstsite's new building, including expanding firstsite's profile nationally and internationally.
