firstsite is the only UK venue for this international exhibition, showcasing eleven artists who draw on architectural practice as inspiration for their work. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations and photographs reflect the social and cultural significance of architecture internationally.

Appropriating the language of architecture – its precise draughtsmanship, abstract plans and model making – these artists have created a broad and intriguing range of responses to our built environment.

Interior View is curated by independent curator Felicity Lunn and was developed in collaboration with firstsite, De Zonnehof in Amersfoort and Kunsthalle in Fribourg.

The exhibition is accompanied by a full colour catalogue with essays by Felicity Lunn and architect historian/journalist Hans Ibelings.
