Interactive works made from recycled materials that are triggered by the viewer. The sculptures take inspiration from landscape and travel; atmosphere is created through movement, soundtracks and a playfulness that blurs the boundaries of scale, the imaginary and the real. The box with the hole you stick your head in (working title) is a new commission by firstsite. Dobrowolski is known for his large scale artistic inventions that have included a fully-functioning tank, hovercraft and plane.
